U Need Design Studio Shipping Policy: A Commitment and Guide to the Journey

Dear Customers, At U Need Design Studio, we regard every piece of work as a precious carrier of your stories. “We do what you need, creating a unique memory with you.”

From conception to your hands, this journey requires the most meticulous arrangement. This policy aims to transparently explain the shipping details, our commitments, and matters you need to know, ensuring that every memory arrives safely.

1. Our Shipping Commitment and Process

Order Processing & Preparation: Upon receiving your order and confirming payment, we will initiate the order processing within 2-4 business days. To ensure you receive the artwork in its prime condition, some items will be processed and dispatched via premium express directly from our high-quality partner studios (such as our Shenzhen dispatch warehouse). We will coordinate the entire process to ensure that the quality and packaging of each natural mother-of-pearl, pearl, and gemstone meet the mid-to-high-end standards of U Need Design Studio.
Packaging Philosophy: Every piece will be carefully wrapped using high-specification shockproof and scratch-resistant jewelry protection materials and placed into our exclusive luxury packaging box printed with our brand logo. We hope that the moment of unboxing itself is an elegant and delightful ritual experience.
Dispatch Notification & Tracking: When your artwork sets off for its destination, we will send a "Shipping Confirmation Notice" to your registered email address, which will include a logistics tracking number (Tracking Number) and a real-time query link.

Formation of Purchase Contract: This notification marks our official acceptance of your order offer, and the purchase contract officially takes effect at this time.

2. Shipping Options, Timelines, and Fees

A. Hong Kong Local Shipping

Shipping Method: SF Express — Supports home delivery, SF Lockers, SF Service Points, or commercial/industrial addresses.
Estimated Delivery Time (After Dispatch): 2-4 business days.
Shipping Fees: * Compliments of free shipping for a single order with an actual paid amount of HKD 800 or above.
- For orders below the threshold, a uniform shipping fee of HKD 40 will be charged across Hong Kong.
Note: The timeline is an estimate for general circumstances and does not include order processing time. If you choose home delivery, please ensure someone is available to sign for the package.

B. International Shipping (e.g., Singapore and Other Global Regions)

Shipping Method: Brand-designated Premium International Express / Express Air Line — After the goods arrive in the destination country, the final mile delivery will be completed by high-quality local postal services or mainstream courier companies.
Estimated Delivery Time (After Dispatch): 5-10 business days (depending on the destination).
Shipping Fees: Compliments of global free shipping for a single order with an actual paid amount of USD 200 or above. (*For special celebrations such as the 520 opening limited-time campaign, the free shipping threshold shall be strictly subject to the live announcement in the announcement bar and banner at the top of the website at that time.)
Cross-Border Duties and Taxes Framework:
- 【🇸🇬 Singapore Market — DDP Covered Commitment】: For orders bound for Singapore that meet the free shipping threshold, the Studio will fully pre-pay all import duties and Goods and Services Tax (GST) required by Singapore law. You will face no hidden fees or double taxation upon delivery.
- 【🌍 All Other Countries & Regions — DDU Applied】: Except for Hong Kong and Singapore, all other export countries or regions (such as the US, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, etc.) are shipped under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) international terms. As the importer of record, you are legally responsible for cooperating with local customs clearance and bearing all import duties, VAT, or sales taxes levied by the destination country. For orders that do not meet the free shipping threshold, the system will automatically calculate the international shipping fee at checkout.

📌 Please Note: All shipping timelines are estimates in business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Actual delivery times may be extended due to global logistics peak seasons (Peak Season), extreme weather, or routine customs inspections.

3. Shipping Risks, Ownership, and Liability

Transfer of Risk and Ownership: Ownership of the artwork transfers to you upon our receipt of your full order payment; the risk of loss or damage to the artwork transfers to you once the artwork is delivered to the carrier (such as SF Express, premium air lines, etc.).
Our Scope of Liability & Assistance Commitment: We ensure that the artwork is flawless before shipment. Once the artwork is delivered to the carrier, the risks of delay, damage, or loss during transportation shift to you, and the Studio does not bear direct legal liability for compensation. However, we deeply understand the meaning of each piece of jewelry to you, and we promise to put forth 100% effort to assist you in resolving any transportation issues that may occur.
International Customs Responsibility: For international shipping, the Studio does not bear direct responsibility for the customs clearance processes, delays, detentions, or returns of the destination customs.
Logistics Anomaly Resolution: Please first use the tracking number provided to contact the local carrier for inquiries. If the tracking information remains abnormal for more than 10 business days, please contact us via official email or WhatsApp. We will proactively initiate an official inquiry with the carrier. In the event of a confirmed lost package, we will prioritize arranging a free remake and expedited shipment for you, or conversion to store credit according to our Return & Exchange Policy, fully safeguarding your shopping experience.

4. Shipping Address and Delivery Responsibility

Address Accuracy: Please ensure that the shipping address provided (including Chinese/English, floor, unit number, postal code, etc.) is completely accurate. The buyer shall fully bear all shipping losses, customs fines, and re-shipping costs resulting from returned, lost, or destroyed packages caused by incorrect/incomplete addresses, unclaimed packages, or the recipient's refusal to cooperate with local customs import declarations.
Delivery Tip: We highly recommend signing for the package in person. Delivery to management offices, front desks, or third-party recipients is deemed successful delivery. Please inspect the outer packaging before signing. If the outer packaging is severely damaged, compressed, or soaked, please take photos immediately as evidence and consider refusing the package.

5. Special Reminder for International Customers

We immensely cherish every trust from afar. To ensure a smoother delivery journey for this romance:

Cooperate with Customs: In rare cases, if the local customs or post office issues a verification notice, please cooperate and confirm in a timely manner to avoid additional express warehousing fees.
Correct Contact Information: Please provide a valid telephone number and email address at checkout so that the logistics company can contact you in time during critical delivery moments.

6. Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to update this shipping policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page. Policy changes do not affect orders whose shipment has been confirmed prior to the change.
