However, to ensure the smooth operation of our cross-border supply chain and logistics, you agree and authorize us to disclose your basic contact information (name, address, phone number) to the following partners when necessary:

Logistics Carriers & Third-Party Suppliers: Since the Studio adopts a global supply chain model of "dropshipping", your shipping information will be provided to our premium manufacturing partners, SF Express (SF International), or 4PX for compliant customs clearance, import declaration, and last-mile delivery.

Technical Hosting Platform: Our e-commerce system is hosted on the Shopify platform, which securely processes and stores technical transaction data on our behalf.

2. Shipping, Duties & Returns Statement
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This Statement sets forth the official legal terms governing shipping, import taxes, and the "Memory Guardian" return and exchange policy of U Need Design Studio. Any user who submits an order on this Website is deemed to have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted all the contents of this Statement.
2.1 Cross-Border Shipping & Duties Declaration

Logistics Model & Delivery Time: Our jewelry products are primarily dispatched directly from our premium partner supply warehouses located in Shenzhen. All orders will be packaged and shipped within 2 to 4 working days after acceptance. The system will automatically send a tracking number to your registered email upon dispatch.

Estimated Delivery Windows: Approximately 2-4 working days for Hong Kong; approximately 5-10 working days for Singapore and other global regions. These timeframes are for reference only. Actual delivery speed depends on cross-border customs clearance and local courier operations. The Studio shall bear no legal liability for indirect losses caused by weather, strikes, customs delays, or supplier delays.

Shipping Fees & Free Shipping Thresholds:

Hong Kong: Free shipping for orders with a net paid amount of HKD $800 or above (supports SF Lockers, SF Stores, commercial and residential addresses). A fixed shipping fee of HKD $40 applies to orders below this threshold.

Singapore & Worldwide: Free shipping via SF International Express for orders with a net paid amount of USD $200 or above. Orders below this threshold will be charged a international shipping fee as displayed at checkout.

Special Celebrations: Shipping exemptions and thresholds during specific promotional periods (such as the 520 Grand Opening limited event) shall be governed by the latest real-time legal announcements on the website announcement bar and banners.

Import Duties & Taxes Clauses (Delivered Duty Paid - DDP): To optimize the shopping experience for our premium clientele, for all international orders (including destinations like Singapore) that meet the "free shipping threshold" or are explicitly marked as "duties included", the Studio will fully bear the import duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), or Goods and Services Tax (GST) levied by the destination country or region. All customs duties will be paid on behalf of the recipient by the Studio or the logistics provider. Recipients do not need to pay any extra tax fees upon delivery. For orders that do not meet the free shipping threshold and lack a "duties included" mark, DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms shall apply, and buyers shall bear all potential local customs duties as the importer.
2.2 "Memory Guardian" Return & Exchange Legal Restrictions
Since our fine jewelry is mostly crafted from natural mother-of-pearl, natural pearls, and natural tiger's eye, individual variations in texture, color, and luster are inherent characteristics of natural materials and do not constitute product quality defects.

Cooling-off Period & Strict Hygiene Exemptions: We offer a 7-day return and exchange application window from the date of receipt (based on the delivery date on the logistics system). [Strict Hygiene Exemption] Due to personal hygiene and safety reasons, all earring products (including studs, clips, and hoops) are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable once unsealed or worn, except for quality issues. Returned items must remain brand new, unworn, undamaged, with original tags intact, and must be returned together with the original premium jewelry box, dust bag, and all accompanying gifts. Otherwise, the Studio reserves the right to refuse refunds or deduct corresponding depreciation losses.

Allocation of Return Shipping Costs:

Quality Issues / Wrong Items: If a product has a severe defect or does not match your order, please send clear photos and your order number to info@uneeddesignstudio.com within 48 hours of receipt. Upon verification, the Studio will issue a full refund or arrange a replacement, and bear the return shipping costs.

Personal Reasons: For returns requested due to personal reasons (such as dislike, improper size, or change of mind), the buyer must fully bear all international logistics expenses, customs clearance fees, and potential taxes required to ship the product back to our designated warehouse (Hong Kong or Shenzhen warehouse).

Refund Settlement & Pending Status: Once the returned goods are received and confirmed eligible by the Studio, we will initiate a refund in the Shopify backend within 3 working days. According to the cross-border settlement mechanism of international banks and Shopify Payments, once a refund is initiated, it enters a 24 to 48-hour "Pending" review period for reconciliation, during which the system will temporarily not send out notifications. Once the status turns successful, the funds are expected to take 5 to 10 working days (depending on the processing speed of your issuing bank) to be credited back to your original payment account. Cross-border transaction fees incurred from the original transaction might be withheld by financial institutions.
